What I do

I was thinking about this the other day. What do I do? I’m a stay at home mom with some goals for myself. I am doing my best to take care of ME while also doing all the things for our kids and house. I try to motivate others to create a sustainable lifestyle that tastes delicious, is sweaty and most importantly fun. I cook, I clean, sometimes I’m a therapist, sometimes a referee, occasionally the teacher in me spotlights in and I’m also a fitness instructor. It all depends on the day. Some days I crush life and fall asleep proud AF and other days I remind myself that tomorrow will be better because there is no such thing as perfect.

I am by no means an expert in fitness and nutrition. What I am is someone who knows what feels best for my body and I try to incorporate those things into my daily life. Exercise, a ton of water, sleep and healthy eats with an occasional treat. I love a good butt kicking workout but have gotten a lot better at reminding myself that recovery days are just as important. I have also always been the girl to bring a bag of fresh fruit on girls weekend because I know that vitamins cure my hangover faster than grease alone. And I will remind you to chug a quick glass of water before your next cocktail. I got your back!

Group Exercise Instructor

This became a dream of mine in my mid 20’s (I am currently 41 and very fresh to the instructor world. Just a reminder to NEVER let go of your dreams!) - to motivate a room full of people to give 100% effort, have fun at the same time and walk out the door feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of their day. I still remember my favorite Thursday night class at North End Yoga in Boston. So many times I would think to myself, could I do this? Could I ever be this good? Finding an instructor that motivates you and pushes you to try a little harder is like discovering that secret sauce. Hmm… just so good!

I finally stopped thinking about it and got certified to be a group exercise instructor. I taught at Orangetheory for a bit but the hours were not a good fit for my family and me. Then I went to visit my close college friend in Jersey City, on what we liked to call our ‘research trip’. She took me to Jane Do try a trampoline class and I fell in love, just like she knew I would. So. Much. Fun.

Now I teach trampoline classes out of our house in my basement studio. I teach early morning classes, mid-morning classes and an evening class each week. Sign up here! I also teach a cardiovascular and strength classes at FitLife in Winchester.
